What is an electric bike conversion kit?
An electric bike conversion kit or ebike kit is a complete electric hub motor kit that can be installed on any type of conventional bicycle, recumbent, trike, folder or any other specialty bicycle. The kit is comprised of a hub motor, controller, throttle, battery, battery rack, indicator gauge, charger and applicable hardware. Kits are available in 20″, 26″ and 700c size wheels. They are also available in either front wheel drive or rear wheel drive versions.
